EndNote information

These EndNote instructions may differ depending on whether you are on or off-campus and on the browser you are using. If the instructions do not work please refer to the EndNote or Endnote Web help pages.

It is possible to transfer records directly from all Web of Knowledge databases with the exception of Journal Citation Reports to EndNote, by first marking records of interest by ticking the box beside them and then clicking the Save to EndNote button. If you already have an Endnote library open, the records will automatically transfer to this library; if not, the Endnote program will automatically open and will request that you select a library to export the files to. EndNote also offers a connection file for on-campus use. You'll find it by going to EndNote and selecting Edit. Click on Connection Files and then on Open Connection Manager… In the window which opens up, scroll down to Web of Science (TS) or Web of Science (ISI) and tick the box beside it.

It is also possible to transfer records directly from all Web of Knowledge databases with the exception of Journal Citation Reports to EndNote Web. You need to ensure you are signed in to Endnote Web before attempting to transfer records, either by signing in to Endnote Web in a separate window, or by going to the My Endnote Web tab at the top of the Web of Knowledge page. Once you are signed in, select records of interest by ticking the box beside them, and then click the Save to EndNote Web button.
