Data retrieved: Seventy percent of the database consists of periodical articles.
Access notes: There are limits to the numbers of people who can use this service at any one time. If you are denied access, it may be that the maximum number has been reached. Try again in 15 minutes or so.
When logging in off campus, please follow these instructions:
- When prompted to Select region or group, choose UK Higher Education from the drop-down menu.
- Follow the link to Manchester Metropolitan University.
- When you see the MMU login page, enter your MMU network ID and password.
EndNote information
These EndNote instructions may differ depending on whether you are on or off-campus and on the browser you are using. If the instructions do not work please refer to the EndNote or Endnote Web help pages.
You may use the Direct Export function to transfer records from EbscoHost databases into your EndNote or EndNote Web library.
Here's how:
- Run a search and click on Add to folder for each record.
- Select Folder, check the tick box to select the records you want and then select Export.
- To export to EndNote, select Direct Export to EndNote, ProCite, or Reference Manager. Alternatively, to export to EndNote Web, select Direct Export to EndNote Web.
- Then click on Save.
- EndNote should automatically open.
- You will be asked to open the EndNote library into which you want to transfer the records.
- For Endnote Web you will need to login.
- The records will be transferred automatically. For EndNote Web they will go into the unfiled group. Included will be URLs that may allow you to connect to the full-text of the article, provided that MMU has access rights.
