The Post-16 toolkit is based on the QCA's Key Skills specifications (as revised in September 2001). The sections relating to Information Skills are included in the Information Technology and Communications units and are highlighted here. The toolkit is specifically designed for use in the post-16 sector and includes examples of good practice from post-16 institutions. It aims to demonstrate how information skills training can be included in the post-16 curriculum. Further details of the case studies mentioned below are available on the Big Blue website.
